Research Facilities

Research Laboratory in Yadavindra College of Engineering was established with the funds received by faculty of Mechanical Engineering Section through two major research projects sanctioned by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi for combating with the erosion/corrosion problems in boiler tubes and pulverized coal burner nozzles in thermal power plants. The research lab has a focused area evolved from problems of frequent shutdowns in thermal power plants and deals with advanced surface engineering research to cope with the challenges faced by industries. In addition to solving the problems encountered by thermal power plants, the lab is also used by Ph.D. and M.Tech. research scholars for doing their research related activities.
